#VMA2016: Beyoncé e Adele lideram indicações para o MTV Video Music Awards

Nesta terça-feira (26/07), a MTV anunciou os indicados para o MTV Video Music Awards 2016. O destaque
desta edição é Beyoncé, que recebeu o maior número de indicações de sua carreira
– onze no total, por seu visualmente conceituado e aclamado álbum “Lemonade”.
Adele foi a segunda artista com mais indicações, oito no total, sendo sete para
seu hit “Hello”, recordista no YouTube.
Os clipes de “Hello” (Adele),
“Formation” (Beyoncé), “Hotline Bling” (Drake), “Sorry” (Justin Bieber) e
“Famous” (Kanye West) são os indicados na categoria “Vídeo do Ano”. O MTV Video
Music Awards 2016 será transmitida ao vivo, no dia 28 de agosto, domingo, a
partir das 21h, diretamente do Madison Square Garden, em Nova York, nos Estados
Unidos, pela MTV Brasil (canal 134 na OiTV).
Além disso, a premiação deste ano
contou com outra novidade. Para celebrar um ano em que os maiores artistas do
mundo elevaram a produção de videoclipes para outro patamar artístico, a MTV
revelou os indicados a “Vídeo do Ano” em um grande mural panorâmico criado
pelos artistas visuais BD White, John Paulo Ogrodnick
(JPO), Damien Mitchell, Marc Evan, Resa, BKFoxx, Queen Andrea, Hektad, Giz,
Such e Poem One. A divulgação aconteceu na First Street Green Art Park, em East
Village, Nova York – e foi transmitida ao vivo via Facebook pela MTV News
norte-americana.
A partir de hoje, os fãs podem votar
em seus artistas favoritos para todas as categorias do VMA 2016, incluindo
“Vídeo do Ano”, “Melhor Clipe Masculino”, “Melhor Clipe Feminino”, a nova
categoria batizada de “Melhor Vídeo em Formato Longo” e muitas outras, pelo site oficial.
